Meet the Founder
Vicky Barone
Vicky Barone started her creative journey over 25 years ago with a bold pivot from engineering to artistry. As a self-taught graphic designer, she has partnered with major names like American Greetings, with her work appearing in stores such as Target and World Market.
Her latest venture, Barone & Co., brings her vibrant, versatile aesthetic directly to customers. Every greeting card is sustainably made, reflecting Vicky’s lifelong commitment to environmental consciousness (she’s the daughter of two foresters!).
Today, she leads her Cary, NC-based creative studio, designing thoughtful cards and gifts that inspire connection, kindness, and joy.

This part isn't a marketing line for us. Vicky grew up the daughter of two foresters, so trees have always felt personal. Every Barone & Co. card is printed by Indigo Ink, a press powered by 100% wind energy and named to the EPA's Green Power Partner list. Through their partnership with PrintReleaf, a tree is planted for every tree used to make our cards. Even their deliveries run on fuel-efficient and hybrid vehicles. Our paper is FSC-certified and either 100% recyclable or sustainably sourced.
